I Made A Skill Tree For Writing
This took a couple days to do, and holy crap I am satisfied with the results. I wanted to share it with you guys because I really wanted to write, but lacked the guidance to do so, so I made my own. To answer some questions:
1) No, I do not expect myself to actually finish the entire Skill Tree. This is moreso a guide so I'm not lost, and I know what to tackle next. I have my own set of rules how I can complete these skills, and it will take a while. Some routes are optional, and I made it that way just in case one route isn't for me.
2) Besides the first row under, "The Anatomy of Genre," everything with a name is some book for me to study. As I read that book, I put it into practice, and find examples of what to do and what not to do.
3) Some of these books are repetitive, but I did that on purpose. If I find that there's just enough of a difference with information, I add it on. If you wish to follow this, you don't have to do repeat; this is more for myself.
Anyway, this took a couple days to do, and I was excited to share it with you all! Please let me know any questions you have, or if you think some changes need to be made. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
