Dedicated server

My partner and I have been playing together on a server for the last few weeks and it's starting to get a little bit annoying that I have to have my Xbox running in order for him to play as well. This led me down the path of considering starting a dedicated server, is that the only option? If so, any websites you all know of that are the obvious choice for something like that?
