“Wow, you’re so pretty.”

Why do people feel the need to tell pretty people they are pretty? Especially when thousands of other people have already said it. Like, I’m sure they know buddy. It’s annoying seeing people go out their way to uplift people who don’t need to be uplifted. What do you want? A pat on the head?
