Can I just use TaskerNet and that's it?

I'm about to either buy Tasker or Macrodroid. Tasker seems good, but insanely complicated from the UI. I was wondering if I can just use TaskerNet to copy the things I like or is there anything I have to do besides that? Because if it is that simple it's an easy buy!
