Anyone else think Ricky is depressed?

Being serious for a bit, as someone with depression I feel like I have a bit of a six sense on these things and I’m not the only person with it who feels that way.

Him fake laughing at everything, being a little bit egotistical whilst also being quite insecure and unable to show it, addicted to posting on social media and validation, writing a character in Afterlife that’s essentially Ricky Gervais in which all he wants to do is kill himself.
