FLYSKY gyro vs Yokomo V4

So, my son and I have been going to the local drift track lately and slowly modifying our TT02 to drift.

We have a Flysky GT5 with a BS6 receiver. It seems like we have a lot more control over the settings of gyro (SVC) vs a Yokomo V4. We are able to set the Steering and throttle gain as well as setting the priority of the gyro over user input.

My question is, is there a fundamental difference in how the Yokomo V4 functions as a standalone gyro for drifting vs our receiver integrated gyro? If not, is it a matter of trying to mimic the settings of the Yokomo V4 functions?

Today I had it set as 90% steering gain, 25% throttle and 50% priority. After trying out the V4, I’m assuming it should be closer to 90%+ steering gain, 0% throttle (Yokomo doesn’t control this) and 80%+ priority.

Thanks!
