Considering adopting this blue eyed blond

My partner and I live in NYC and want to give an older dog a loving home. We found this lovely girl through a dog rescue and were immediately taken with how much affection she was showing. However, this would be our first dog together. She has these benign skin tags and raw patches on her paws from prior abuse/neglect, and she was used as a breeder dog for a while from what we have learned about her. Sharing in case anyone has any thoughts/tips! Thank you.
