Movies Where Characters Use Tropes & Clichés to Their Advantage?
You ever watch a movie and think, "Why doesn’t the character just do the obvious thing based on every movie that came before them?" Like, if you know you're in a situation straight out of a story, wouldn’t you use that knowledge to survive, win, or just make things easier?
I'm looking for movies where characters actively recognize tropes and clichés and use them to their advantage rather than just stumbling through. Not just fourth-wall-breaking humor, but where they actually apply genre logic to navigate their world.
