Custom Game-specific Borders

Hello all,

I decided I'd spend the time to collect and create custom borders so that I could have unique borders for almost all 94 of the games I have on my SNES Classic. I'm sure many of these are popular, so please feel free to use these for yourself also!

A few notes:

Instructions on how to use custom borders for each game are here, courtesy of /u/Stahn07: https://www.reddit.com/r/miniSNESmods/comments/75xxpi/custom_borders_for_each_game/ If someone out there wants to write a script to make this easier then great, but I'm not planning to do that.

There are some custom borders here created by other users, all prefaced with a number or 'xx'. Special thanks goes out to /u/DarkMime64 and /u/The007JiM for most of those. The other borders are all my own work.

I tried to use official art wherever it was available in a suitable resolution, but some digital/fan art was too good to pass up. Here are the credits for the fan art I could trace back to its authors:

I'm using the "galaxy" background for Gradius III and R-Type 3.

The files have all been compressed using PNGQuant, the total size on your SNES should be about 33MB for all of them. Also, the mask/options files are there in case you want to enable color changing backgrounds, but none of them are enabled. You'll have to edit the options file and add whichever hue/saturation/luminance options you desire.

I personally prefer the 4:3 aspect ratio, so those backgrounds definitely got more of my attention than the pixel perfect ones; still both should work. Let me know if you see any glitches.

Enjoy!
