[KCD2] Gamerant: are they stoopid?

Worth remembering, as ever, that gaming journalists often don't like games full stop, and so they sometimes don't make good guides to new games, to say the least. They are basically wikis posing as journalism (for the most part) and they need to wait till a herd of opinion has formed before they can "make up their minds."

Impressive results include this gem from Gamerant, and I quote, "It is important to mention that hitting targets and dummies will not increase Henry's Marksmanship experience. But killing Rabbits, Deer, Boars, and Wolves is a great way to start piling up some Marksmanship points."

You can hit targets in various locations to boost marksmanship XP without spending a groschen. Hunting is great sure, for survival too. But that first sentence is plainly false.

THIS IS, as many of us no doubt know by now, FALSE

Because now we know that one of the best ways to boost ur marksmanship stats (as well as a host of others) is to head down to our pal Vostatek, and use the archery range at his lodge esp with his son Vitek watching (-- and definitely not with his wife Zlata watching as she has a tendency to flee screaming, unfortunately.) This is probably linked to his role as a competition organizer, since u get extra XP for all shots her supervises during competitions even when u don't win, and it might be that this applies to him supervising outside of contests too. Worth testing on other competition organizers like Bohumir. But taking advantage of archery ranges with targets and esp they competitions is one of the best ways of ascending marksmanship levels early on.

I was amazed to see that guide there without a retraction so felt compelled to chime in, thanks friends.
