Endwalker Collectors Box Order Issues

Now that Endwalker is round the corner, just wondering if anyone else heard any news about those of us with bugged out PayPal orders for the collectors box? Apparently if you placed a pre-order for one using PayPal, there was a chance your order got delayed until after they went out of stock and you got left in Validated limbo. Did they ever do any sort of announcement on this that I missed?
