Specialized Turbo Vado SL vs Trek Verve+ 1 Lowstep LT

Just looking for other peoples opinions if they got them. I'm going to buy one of the above bikes. My needs for bells and whistles are fairly low--just needing some peddle assist for inclines around town and when I'm carting my Toddler around. No throttle needed, no heavy duty. I'm willing to spend money for quality and longevity (understanding I need to stay on maintenance). Any opinions between the two? Specifically with regards to quality?
