I kept a really consistent January of hitting my goal of 2 hours a day with the goal to be at 1000 hours by the end of the year. I started the year at 300 hours. Most of my input is DS Beginner videos along with 1 kids tv show episode a day in Spanish with English subtitles. My biggest road block right now is my abominable ability to focus. There are sometimes 10 full minute videos where I feasibly cannot focus even while looking at the screen and walking. I wonder if sometimes my input is still to high level for me, but I’m just continuing to throw ds videos in front of me and hopefully over time the things that stick will accumulate. Every now at 350+ hours I still for the life of me cannot focus and pay attention to Cuentame. But hopefully the good news is I am accumulating hours consistently and over time my mind will turn more on to Spanish.

It’s also weird with focusing because in English I often listen to tons of audio input such as books and podcasts sometimes at 3x speed with good ability to focus and understand.
