Anyone remember the first time they moved to a new place and experienced culture shock? (Feeling grateful post)

I saw this posted on Twitter the other day and thought it was spot on: “Everyone should experience culture shock from living in a radically different culture at least once in their life.”

I can still remember the first time I moved somewhere completely different from where I grew up. From rural Canada to Seoul, South Korea. Absolutely blew my mind and Korean culture was so different.

I’m grateful that I got to have that experience. Challenging at times but overall very positive.
