Any tips for dark souls?

Ive almost beaten dark souls 3 before and have beaten elden ring countless times, but i seem to not be able to get a grip of this game. ive just now beaten the twin gargoyle and rung my first bell after about 2 and a half hours of gameplay but i dont think im quite good at the game.
