C curl so uncomfortable

I have an 8 week old who struggles with awful gas discomfort. Miraculously, this all goes away when she's laying in bed with me. Her bassinet must be the place where gas stirs. Anyway, how are you guys all staying comfortable in this position?? I get SO cramped up. It's killing me. I assume back sleeping is out of the question...
