Correct me if I'm wrong but... As far as I know, Ikkaku didn't request gentei kaijo

So this absolute lunatic fought a fracciones, while limited to 1/8th of his total spiritual energy, used a weakened bankai

and STILL WON

But if I consider that gentei kaijo is only used by lieutenants and captains then this implies that Ikkaku has such exceptional reiatsu control that he could fly under the radar completely
