Difference between work visa and HPI visa?

Hi everyone! Anyone here happen to know the differences between normal work visa in the UK and the HPI visa? Not sure if there's more than one "type" of work visa either... asking because of the tight timeline for me for HPI visa and I fear I might miss out on it!
