Still looking for a girlfriend

t’s been about 23 years and I still haven’t found the right girl yet. I have started to believe that I will die miserable and alone with seven long-haired cats. Either that, or I’m really ugly or something. I have started to hallucinate a shadow in the corner of my bedroom that calls out to me when I am craving affection. “Feed me,” it cries. Yet I stare at the ceiling in a blank fashion of asceticism.
