Raven Guard Chaplains
This is more a lore-based question, as I’m aware there are probably uses for the Chaplains in gameplay.
While the Chaplains act mainly as a combo of moral support/guidance and political officer off the battlefield, on the battlefield, they’re meant to be inspirational figures, rallying their troops with not only their voices/sermons, but also their own actions.
However, this seems counterintuitive to the tactics of the Raven Guard. A battlefield Chaplain seems to be a better fit for a Chapter like the Dark Angels, Black Templars, or Ultramarines. While there are instances of the Guard in open combat, a lot more of their actions take place in secret, stealth being the premium. So what purpose does a Chaplain serve in those instances?
Can anyone point out examples or excerpts of a Raven Guard Chaplain at work on the battlefield? Or do the Ravens (and their successors) have either fewer Chaplains than a different, more standard Chapter would?
