someone has to explain this game to me

am I the only one who played this game for several hours and still has no clue how things work? how do I make money why is base build important or is it? I have no clue. this is the only game I played for maybe 5 hours in total and still have no clue(no hate). is there a discord channel for this game so I can talk to people and try to get any help?
