Itching Scalp

Hi Naturalistas and Natural-lovers!

I could really use some help! I cornrow my hair down often simply because it is easier to manage and to help retain moisture as my hair SUCKS UP moisture like crazy. However, one issue I continually have is that my scalp itches like crazy underneath my braids. I end up taking them out usually after only a couple of days to get some relief and then rebraid my hair.

Does anyone have any recommendations for products or processes that might can help me? My regular lines of product are Shea Moisture and Mielle.
