I feel like people don't give the DD's enough credit for Earth

Like, many people say the DD's would be utterly destroyed when fighting even a modern military, much less the (frankly modern looking) military in MD, but I feel like they aren't considering everything.

DD's are super strong, fast enough to catch bullets even when on the ground (and throw them back), highly mobile even in the air, and human sized. Plus the bullet proof wings and regeneration. And, the most overlooked things I think, their seemingly INFINITE amount of ammunition (Just think back to when N was just spamming missiles at the rubble in the mines) and their personal arsenal that somehow fits all into their arms via Solver bullshit, though I would like to call special attention to the portable EMP weapons they carry.

Human sized, incredibly fast robots with regeneration that can literally spam missiles and (with careful aiming) small EMP blasts wherever they go. Plus the terror tactics, they are practically designed to be living warcrimes.

Edit: Almost forgot, even if they mostly destroy a DD, for every one they don't utterly obliterate, a huge eldritch worm is gonna pop out capable of hyper-realistic holograms that is controlled directly by Cyn.

Granted, it's impossible that they could have won purely by themselves, as eventually humanity would have gotten its shit together like how it eventually did with the creation of the Sentinels. I'm not saying they could have won, just that they should be given a bit more credit given to how much of a problem they were to deal with.

All they had to do was generally cause a panic by doing impressive levels of violence and destruction. They had plenty of ways to stall for Cyn to prepare Earths destruction, a straight up war is out of their element. Meanwhile humanity is scrambling to learn whatever they can about these things and each thing they learn is more horrible than the last.

Human 1: Sir! We have captured the corpse of one of the corrupted drones.

Human 2: How much of it is left?

Human 1: Just the upper half of it sir, it is currently going to our engineers to disassemble as we speak.

Human 2: Wonderful.

Lights cut out

Human 1: ...Is that screaming?

Screams of the soon to be worm food
