Overcoming feelings of hopelessness
I recently undertook practicing mindfulness in conjunction with therapy to help with my anxiety and so far it’s been working well to help me redirect my thoughts and center myself. However, paying closer attention to my mind has made me notice how often it gets redirected and loses presence. Having to constantly center myself via breathing or otherwise has generated some feelings of fear that this will never get easier and my brain will always be this revved. Overall, I’m just feeling somewhat overwhelmed.
Has anyone had a similar experience when they started practicing mindfulness? Any advice?
