Do not buy a Hamuq - a REVIEW
2.5 years ago, I purchased a Hamuq mattress who at the item had really good reviews. I wonder now if those reviews were from shills?
Anyway, our mattress has started to become lumpy from the middle. I reached out to Hamuq customer service and the experience was like this:
Hamuq asked for photos of the mattress with a string on two corners of the mattress to show the depth and an inch tape showing the depth. I proceed to do this exercise and send them the photos.
They followed up by saying that the sag is not more than 2 inches so they cannot honour the warranty. I replied back that it was indeed 2 inches.
They replied back saying that the tape was placed into the 'indented diamond', and to take new photos.
I took new photos and shared them with Hamuq.
At this point, they refused again saying that I should take new photos by placing the mattress directly on the floor and measure the sag again.
I proceed to do so.
They refused again saying that I am 'pressing' the measuring tape into the mattress. They asked for me to repeat the same process again, but this time with an actual video instead of a photo.
I just refused this time. Clearly they had no intention of processing the claim and were tiring me out.
The least I can do at this point is share my experience. Over 900 canadian dollars lost!
