Worth using more drop gear to farm?

Edit: thanks for the advice guys! I'll keep my meso gear on 100% and the rest will be item drop until I get more.

Looked around and the consensus was to have 100% meso on at all times. Unfortunately, my mercedes doesn't currently have any hybrid lines or doubles. I do have a large fam drop already, in fact a little too many.

My main goal is to farm boss fams and I'm not sure if drop rate above 300% will change my gains at all. Will it drop more? Nodes for mules and frags, too.

Any insight would be appreciated. I would have around 386% drop with legion and fams, but would literally have 0% meso equipped other than IA/ Artifact.
