The new 25’s are awful.

Has anyone driven one yet? I just had a 2025 Countryman S as my loaner… my god is it problematic and just overall trash.

Everything is on the dash unit now, fan controls, temperature, everything. And it barely works. The controls are slow, and when the car is hot, almost completely unresponsive. It puts the car in guest mode and doesn’t allow you to select a driver profile if you start driving, so it won’t remember any settings. You need to be fully parked to select the driver profile.

Buttons… my favorite part of the mini… missing. You get a switch for transmission control - no more manual transmissions, or even manual shifting on the DSG.

What was BMW thinking? They took everything that was fun about the mini and decided to throw it all out to make the car feel like a Tesla.
