LRG help with damaged case

Hey guys I’m looking for a little help on this one. I purchased Return to Monkey Island for the ps5 from LRG when it was available for preorder and I had it bundled with a few other items, so it didn’t arrive until last month. When I got the package, the plastic wrapper was ripped and I noticed a slice in the spine.

I reached out to LRG customer service and showed them the issue. At first, I thought it was just the case that had been sliced, but it actually went through to the artwork as well. LRG said they no longer had replacement artwork for the game and would offer me a 15% refund instead. I was able to eventually get a replacement copy of the game (as a one time courtesy, according to their support). But when I received the replacement copy, it has the exact same slice on it. They also said for me to keep the original copy instead of sending it back, which I thought was strange.

Is it worth following up again and seeing if I can actually get a copy that should be in new mint condition, or should I just let this one go as the copies they may have left all might have the same issue? My main concern is that the spine will rip more as I open and close the case to play the game periodically.

Any help is appreciated.
