Nose breathing issues after not wearing retainers from braces?

I made a lot of mistakes as a younger kid. In 2020 I got my braces removed and then I lost the retainer, since it was the pandemic that was the last thing I was worried about so years later my bite has become crooked and I'm experiencing nose breathing problems as well as sleep problems that have transpired over the last couple months. I have huge dark under eye bags under my eyes, and I never realized that it might be due to the teeth shifting I have a crooked bite but my teeth don't appear bad in person, but when you look closely, my bite is misaligned and overlaps. I experience jaw pain although it's not severe. I'm seeing my orthodontist next week finally. I have terrible sleep due to be not being able to breath through my nose and I think overtime it's worsened due to my teeth shifting. I haven't had these issues in the past (at least I don't think) and i've never had eye bags this noticeable before. Has anyone had a similar experience? or have had nose breathing improve with braces or Invisalign?
