The DSS is an absolute disaster and it's the funniest thing that's ever happened in this game

The way this major order has played out is a shitstorm of epic proportions.

With the DSS finally online it warps off to Mastia while the Jet Brigade attacks Gaellivare. The Planetary Bombardment action activates and we make good progress on liberating the planet and it's looking like we can pull off the gambit.

But with the next wave of voting, we send it back to Gaellivare to chase the Jet Brigade and most of the players on Mastia follow, even though the defence on Gaellivare is hopeless. So now Mastia, which was on track to be liberated 2 hours ahead of the bots taking Gaellivare, is up to taking a whole day to liberate.

Meanwhile the Eagle Storm action activates and pauses the bots' progress. The only hope left for the DSS and the major order is that because the bots won't be able to finish off the planet until the action wears off, the timer on the MO will expire first, and technically Gaellivare will still be under our control.

To be honest, this is starting to make up for the crap battlefield implementation of the bombardment and the disappointment that the DSS doesn't do more. This is exactly what the game needs more of, community actions driving absolutely wild outcomes in the MO and the wider war. Forget Malevelon or Meridia, you'll be able to tell people you were there for Gaellivare and Mastia. This day will go down in legend.
