The PCIe release tab snapped off, and my GPU is still locked in—how do I safely remove it?

I’m stuck trying to remove my 2080 Ti from my motherboard (can’t remember the exact model, which doesn’t help). The PCIe release tab is broken, and I don’t want to force it out and risk damage. If anyone has a safe method or workaround, you’d be absolute legends!
