Jokes about being conservative in HIMYM

Hello everyone, I'm writing an essay about how tv shows/sitcoms effect our political beliefs and I wanted to include a segment about HIMYM. Does the show talk about politics or has there been a joke about being conservative or being liberal? Any help is appreciated.
