The amount of fines/suspensions for "unpenalized ... infractions" this season is unacceptable
A little bit of a rant.
Refs need to be held responsible for the amount of penalties they seem to keep missing. The Cross-check from Idaho's Wade Murphy on April 3rd was a dirty play and despite Ref #42 seeing the whole thing and Murphy yelling and swinging his stick at officials, he isn't penalized for it. Murphy goes to the box for 2 minutes for a prior tripping call but the guy who gets cross checked to the face and fights him afterwards gets hit a 10 minute penalty.
Sure, Murphy gets hit with a 4 game suspension and fine but for the game itself, Idaho an (albeit small) advantage. With the playoffs coming soon, missed calls like those calls can change a game. Hell, a good amount of suspensions have been slew foot with some appearing accidental. If that happens during a playoff game, a 2-minute minor turns into a 2 game suspension and miss possibly half of a series.
