How do sports photographers have images ready during the game their shooting?

So, I'm interested in getting into sports photography. I've reached out to some local teams and I have a camera/lens that I think can capture the action decently well.

Only thing I haven't quite figured out is that I've noticed some professionals posting images while the matches are still happening. How do you take photos, upload them, process them, and publish them while still actively capturing an event? What's the setup required for this?
