RCA microwave door latch broke. Cannot find replacement part. Any help, please?
Closed the door to the microwave and all of a sudden, it just wouldn't stay shut. Started to google and look on YouTube quite a bit and found lots of videos on how to fix this without ordering a new part. The only caveat was that the spring in all of the videos had an open hook at the ends instead of a closed circle meaning none of the solutions work for my microwave.
Tried to look up the model number of the microwave to search for the part with no luck, also did the same with the part number of the actual piece, no luck there either. Can anyone please help me find the part or at least tell me if there is a workaround? Not handy at all, so I'm really asking here because I don't want to have to replace the whole thing just for a tiny little piece.
