Height Inaccuracy

I never realized just how much height inaccuracy was a pet peeve of mine until I started reading fanfics in this certain fandom. 😭 The two people in the ship were basically the same height but it’s like- why is it that so much fanfics have characters who are the same height have a big height difference? I don’t get it- same with age! They’ll be the same age yet they keep on bringing up the fact that one person is older cause their birthday is 2 weeks before the others. Im just going on a silly rant but it’s just so common like, I like the fact that they’re a similar height or are the same age. If you’re gonna change that in the fanfic to a huge degree then at least say so in the beginning please!! 💔
